Andrew Bridgen, Conservative MP was arrested (not voluntary) interviewed under caution and bailed until July.
Had this been a child sex abuse by a Goverment minister we can rest assured a Super-injunction would have been slapped in place. The young lady in question who has not been named, is reported to be 29 years of age.
Alice Pyne: her parents ask for privacy and no publicity.
There was great joy last night as an influx of tweeters with hearts as big as mountains wanted to do something for Alice, to have her 'trending'. The object of their desire was achieved and there was much joy. However, I have since learnt that Alice's last post on her blog, is from sometime ago and Alice is now very sick. Alice has said through her parents her greatest 'bucket wish' is for everyone to become a bone marrow donor. Her parents also ask for privacy without publicity, this is a time for Alice and her family. xx

Boris Johnson: Bunting more important than rape crisis centre!
Did you know London Mayor Boris Johnson is handing out £50,000 just for Olympics related bunting?
According to the Mayor’s office, each London borough would receive the cash to pay for flags, banners and bunting, just so they could have a “uniform look for the streets of the capital” for the Olympics next year.
We must be rolling in money for London’s Mayor to think handing out £50,000 just for bunting is a great idea.
But one council had the good sense to question whether this was the right decision.
Richmond Council said it would be giving “careful consideration” to what would be appropriate for the borough, claiming £50,000 was “a considerable sum in these frugal times”.
