Darren Lackie:Memorial fund set up to create lasting legacy to Cupar man Darren Lackie

Cupar resident Rod Whyte is setting up the new memorial fund and is sure Darren would approve.

"What has happened is just terrible and I want to help make sure everybody remembers Darren," the 58-year-old engineer told The Courier. "I have spoken with his parents and they are happy to support what I am doing.

"Darren was a Cupar lad and I knew him since he was a baby — there are only a few months between him and my own son. I am sure Darren would feel proud to know we are doing something good for the town in his name."
