24 November 2010: body scanner opt-out day
24 November is "National Opt-out Day" for body scanners in the USA - a campaign which, needless, to say, we wholeheartedly support.
If you or someone you know opts out on the day, or is bullied not to, get in touch.
Of course, in the UK - and only in the UK - you don't have the right to opt out. Here and here alone, if you're "selected" to go through the zapper, you can't opt for anything else - here, it's no scan, no fly.
(oh, and do consider what they're opting into instead - a direct groinal search. Of course, "you don't have to - you can opt not to fly." Great.)
