State Dept. Braces for WikiLeaks Spill
Julian Assange is at it again: His whistle-blower website, WikiLeaks, is once again threatening a massive document dump, this time possibly millions of diplomatic cables between the U.S. State Department and U.S. embassies around the world. “Next release is 7 [times] the size of the Iraq War Logs,” the website’s Twitter feed warned this week. The State Department, led by Secretary Hillary Clinton, is scrambling to contact its embassies around the world to identify any possible repercussions, and has also told Congress of potentially damaging leaks.
