Three year old girl terrorised by airport security staff

I know someone is bound to take issue with my decision to use the word "terrorised" in the title of this blog post, but I stand by it.

The decision of an airport security officer at Chattanooga Airport to body-search a three year old - who has no doubt been educated by her parents to steer clear of strangers, especially those invading their personal space - amounts to nothing more than the terrorisation of a young child.

According to an article in the Daily Mail this morning the child had "become upset after having to have her teddy bear put through an X-ray machine and can be heard screaming: 'stop touching me!'" on video.
Once again, we return to the often-discarded concept of common sense.  What risk can a three year old child possibly pose airline passengers to justify putting them through such a thoroughly unpleasant ordeal?

COMMENT: I usually agree with BBW but in this instance I think it is naive to  think a parent would not use a child to take explosives onto an aircraft . We have only to look at the McCanns and Ed Smarts of this world to see how children are being used in the most evil of ways.
