For someone as rich as Shrien, one wonders why he chose South Africa for his honeymoon destination, and why he would venture into the townships to experience true Africa, as he claims (certainly not my idea of the perfect honeymoon).
Hiring a publicist was also highly suspicious. It is not something a grieving widower would be doing so soon after his wife's death, unless he felt the need to have a professional defend his image.
Did Shrien expected this horrific crime to be put down to South Africa's track record of crime, and soon forgotten?
I don't believe he counted on the suspects being arrested, which is possibly why he immediately hired a lawyer and a publicist.
Anni was beautiful and intelligent, and comes from a family of good standing. She did not deserve to die, and her family certainly did not deserve to lose a daughter. Can you imagine the horrific last few hours she had to endure?
What should have been the happiest days of her life were probably filled with unimaginable pain.
The laws of karma will take care of those guilty, and may the Hindocha family be given immeasurable strength from the Almighty to deal with this tragic loss.
